MENS FASHION: KABALI MOVIE REVIEW

Rajnikanth is probably the biggest superstar of Indian Cinema. He is been ruling Indian cinema for more than 3 decades and he is still going strong. The Superstar has been a part of more than 100 movies, produced and dubbed in numerous languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Rajnikanth’s latest movie Kabali is creating almost an infectious hype in the city. And the hype surpasses borders as people across the world are talking of this movie. Even seasoned Hollywood Star Jackie Chan, raved about the movie. With elaborate promotions and celebrations, this is much more than a movie. It’s a phenomenon.

Last weekend, even I had a chance to see Thalaiva on the silver screen. I felt the movie was good, but what I liked most were the suits and blazers that have been worn by Rajni Sir. The costume designer has indeed done a phenomenal job of dressing someone who is commonly regarded as the South God across various parts of India (and probably the world too). Even despite his age, Rajni Sir has graciously pulled off the latest fashion very well. Complimented with his signature beard, he was still the heartthrob and at times it was hard to believe that the man is over 60 years of age. Maybe that’s is the power of this man. The power and charm of Rajnikanth.

The prominent highlights of the film were stripes, checks, solid grey and black colours which accentuated the feel of the entire film.
